Still in Echo Bay - Jul 13, 2016

July 12th – It was another beautiful day in Echo Bay.  We were invited by 2 separate groups of boaters to docktails today.  One at 3:30pm with Ron & Marilyn from Silver Tales and another at 5pm with the Loopers we met yesterday from Sassafied and Endoxi.  We learned lots of new information at both gatherings and Pete and Pam from Endoxi lent us their Waterway guides and Skipper Bob books which we’ll return to them at the end of our adventure.  We’ve only been looping for 12 days and the people we’ve met have been amazing.  By the way ... It’s a small world! ... During our conversations with Pete, Pam, Rodney & Sharri we found out that they met Scott Dennis and Reilly from Krates delivering a boat. The funny thing is that Scott told me about these Loopers before our trip saying they fed them and provided them with some cold ones!  Also both Sassafied and Endoxi were moored at Starport Marina in Orillia during our dingy visit the weekend of Christmas in June.
July 13th – The weather couldn’t be better. A dingy run to San Souci as well as Spider Bay plus Margaritas, Tiger Tail Ice Cream and Swimming were all required to keep our cool.  The water temperature is 26 Degrees C .... Exxxcellent!  I don’t remember the last time we had a stretch of such hot weather while boating.  We are still hanging around the San Souci area since we have a family get together here this weekend.
Even the Monkey has a margarita - No not me ... the other monkey ;)

Maria and I swam to shore and back as well as around the boat!
