Mar 4th – It was a sunny warm and
extremely windy day. We sat on the boat
today and just relaxed. We were
contemplating going into town by dingy however the main bay was rough thus we
decided to stay put. The others decided
to go into town for happy hour and they got drenched thus it seems like we made
a good decision. They are forecasting
stronger winds for tomorrow … hopefully not too much stronger since we’ve had
some really strong gusts that have jolted the boats. We are checking the anchors and lines to
shore periodically to ensure we’re still secured. Our back lines are like guitar strings! We played a couple games in the evening on
“Relax Now” including a new one to us called “99” which entertained us all!
Mar 5th – It was
an extremely windy day with a mix of sun and clouds. The winds have been relentless and are
blowing at 30 mph (50 kph for my Canadian friends). We decided to stay on the boat again today and
I tackled a few small jobs. I believe
that tonight is a Euchre night thus I’ve decided to put my blog post up early
today. There’s still no sign of an
acceptable weather window for crossing to the Bahamas LThe dingy huddle! ... Trying to move a 16 gal container of water! |

ReplyDeleteYes, this isn't a bad place to be stuck. The weather should be good for crossing this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed for us ;)
